My name is Nikki Watts and I am a child photographer in Kingston Upon Hull. My journey into child photography started when I had my son 3 years ago. It started as a hobby but I soon became fascinated with it, and after being asked by several people to photograph their children, I enrolled on a 1 year course whilst on maternity leave followed by a distance learning course. I also had private tuition on Newborn photography, posing and safety. I had a lot of practice with my own baby, as well as family and friends children. Being a Mum myself I know how important it is to make sure your child is in safe hands.
I started doing freelance photography as a part-time job as I didn't think I would have enough work, I couldn`t have been more wrong! I am now doing this full-time which I love. Thanks to all my lovely trusting clients, my family and friends helping me get there.
I believe simple is beautiful so I like to keep my images natural and light.
I like to photograph babies and children in neutral colours using natural light so all the focus is on them.

I also do a lot of commercial work for restaurants, hotels, baby clothing brands, websites and marketing campaigns. These will all be added to my website shortly.
